Wellness Program

Our Wellness Program is an intro to our personal training package combined with group fitness classes for clients who want some guidance from our certified trainer but mostly prefers to workout in a group setting. It's an affordable start to building a routine with the help of a professional trainer. Our trainer will check in with you monthly to track your progress.

Our Wellness Premier Program is our recommended program for clients who thrive under the guidance of a certified personal trainer. You'll meet with your trainer 1-2 times per week for private sessions. Between sessions you'll have access to unlimited group fitness classes to keep you on track and to maximize results. Your trainer will recommend the best classes to help you achieve your health goals. We recommend this program for clients who want to change their lifestyle and who are committed to changing their health and wellness. We highly recommend that clients commit to 4-6 months in order to see maximum results. Our trainer will check in with you monthly to track your progress and we include one 30-minute bodywork session every month.

Personal Training

Being healthy goes beyond weight loss. It means you're taking care of your body and mind in a way that makes you feel happy, gives you more energy, and generally just improves the quality of your life. Health Coaching is great for people who have tried all the fad diets, joined the latest fitness craze or tried every option to get healthy but still feel like they've come up short.  Our Health Coaching services combine fitness, nutrition guidance, body work, and meditation to give clients the tools they need to manage their own health. 

 

What to expect

Before your first appointment, you'll be asked to complete an intake survey that includes questions about any health-related issues, previous injuries and lifestyle habits. Our Wellness Consultant, Deshaun, will review your intake questionnaire to help him design a program just for you. 

Your first appointment

During your first appointment you'll sit down for a discussion with our Wellness Consultant. Together, you'll review the intake assessment, he'll ask additional information about your background and goals, then he might take you through a few physical movements to gauge your mobility and fitness level. From this appointment he'll be able to build a wellness program to help you feel healthy and happy!

Your program

Each program is custom-designed based on your needs. No need to feel intimidated! All of our programs are designed like building blocks. Before you can walk, you have to learn to crawl. We won't throw you into any intense workouts until your body is strong and flexible enough to handle it. If you suffer from stiffness, we'll start by improving your mobility. If you feel tired most days, we might start by changing your eating habits. It's all about your individual needs.

how many appointments will i need?

That depends. We have some clients who meet with us for body work every few weeks or some clients that prefer more one-on-one time so we'll meet weekly for 3-6 months until the client feels like they've gained all the tools they need to care for their long-term health. 

During your initial appointment please feel free to discuss your needs with our Wellness Consultant. For clients that feel comfortable enough to take up a practice at home with limited supervision, we can design a program with fewer appointments and more "homework" (but the kind of homework that makes you feel happy on the inside). For clients who love the one-on-one time, we can meet more regularly to start, then taper off when you feel like you have a good handle on your wellness. 

 

What should I wear to my appointments?

Our clients often feel best when they wear comfortable, moderately fitted clothing in a breathable fabric - no need to remove your clothing! For fitness appointments you'll want to wear the same clothing you might wear to the gym. For bodywork appointments we usually recommend not wearing jeans. 

 

WHAT TIMES ARE YOU AVAILABLE?

What is TuiNa?

TuiNa is a form of Chinese massage therapy often combined with acupressure and fire cupping, iTaiChi and qigong. It's a hands-on body treatment similar to massage that helps with bringing your body and energy into balance. Do we practice TuiNa? Yep! It's a part of our overall wellness program.

 

What's your cancellation policy?

We understand that life happens and sometimes you have to cancel an appointment. We simply ask clients to cancel appointments at least 24 hours in advance.

 

THIS SOUNDS EXPENSIVE. DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS?

Sorta. Our appointments are moderately priced at $69 for each 45-minute session, regardless of service type. For teachers, fire fighters, and service men/women, we offer a 15% discount. We do offer occasional promotional pricing, but if you want to take advantage of it, you'll need to join our email list. Joining our email list means you'll also be the first to know about new services and sometimes you'll get some inspiring stories and helpful tips from us! Sounds awesome, right?
