We now offer a beginner’s level certification program for those who are interested in expanding their knowledge on the principles of TaiChi. This is a great program for anyone who wants an introductory course in TaiChi or who would like to instruct TaiChi classes in the future.

Wednesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Thursdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Saturdays 11am - 12pm
Sundays 11am - 12pm
Complete 16 hours of in-class training to earn your beginner level certification.
What is TaiChi
Originating in ancient China, TaiChi is an effective exercise for mind-body health. The basic principles involve the control of movements and breathing in order to generate internal energy and mindfulness. The ultimate purpose of TaiChi is cultivate life energy within us to flow throughout the body.
According to the TaiChi for Health Institute, studies have shown that practicing tai chi can improve muscular strength, flexibility, and relieve pain. In an era where 80% of Americans don’t get the recommended level of exercise to maintain health, TaiChi is a low impact practice mind-body practice that contributes to overall health.
